I want to invite you on a journey that started with my own intentional transformation!

There was a time when my passion for Social Work began to wane, and I found myself caught in racist whispers professionally and intimate challenges personally. Desperate for change, I embarked on an intentional journey of self-rediscovery and life redesign that opened up clarity, strength, and a calling to St. Lucia—a place that nourished me in ways I never knew I needed.

But my journey didn’t end there. Upon returning to the UK, I was confronted with the same broken social work system, the same persistent issues that has haunted our field for years. I knew then that something had to change. We are working in the definition of insanity, repeating the same “mis-takes” and expecting different results.

Then, one morning in July 2023, the universe sent me a download. A BIG, AUDACIOUS, and SCARY mission:

A space where inclusion isn’t an afterthought, but the core of our practice. A space that breaks away from the broken system and embraces innovation, collaboration, and true change.

And so, the Very Intentional People Summit was born. An opportunity to bring together a village of those who believe in this mission, who are open to exploring what’s possible and committed to creating something extraordinary for SELF and SOCIAL WORK.

Together, in the stunning environment of St. Lucia, we’ll nourish our souls, reignite our passions, and embark on a transformative adventure. We’ll dive into ancient wisdom, cutting-edge technology, and the rich culture of this beautiful island.
